INTRODUCTION
A BIT OF HISTORY
A BS Computer Science graduate, I became a desktop programmer for a number of companies for the most part of my career (handling business systems using Clipper 5.2, VB6, Powerbuilder 6, then C#.NET). Down the road, I became the sysadmin of Showa for a couple of years, and then I.T. Head of Asian Spirit Airlines for 4 years that ended in 2004.
A merger of my inborn artistic talent and professional skills, web design became the closest to my heart, it became my passion. Furthering my knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP, I started accepting projects in 2006 as a freelance "full-stack" developer / subcontractor for 3 years.
I opened up a design and programming business in 2009, SAGE DESIGN STUDIO. It's now under LONGHEAD DIGITAL SOLUTIONS.
WEB DESIGN
STATIC / CMS-DRIVEN
I had quite an exposure on web design and development (CMS-driven or custom-built), and was fortunate to serve clients in the US, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia plus some others in the Philippines.

- FRONTEND SCRIPTS - Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, VueJS
- CMS - WordPress (when necessary)

CREATIVE WEB
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Falling under special projects, creative web is where I spend more of my time now, it's a growing fascination in full swing. This personal site I did is a short example of our special creative web project (best viewed on a laptop/desktop). Creative web utilizes the following (from moderate to extensive):
- CSS 3 transitions and animation
- Scripted animation (Javascript)
- Graphics design and SVG elements scripted animation
- Video production for web-clips (optional)
- 3D effects/animation (optional, GPU-based renderer when necessary)
It's similar to Flash-based sites of the past but are far more lightweight & efficient (thru high-performance libraries), HTML5-based, SEO-friendly and needs no Flash drivers installed on your browser. Best for your corporate presentations, story-telling, product/service intros, and portfolios.

Though I love spending more time on creatives, I can also build web apps and mobile apps limited to the following disciplines:

- Backend Scripts - PHP (raw, Laravel, Kohana, Yii), C# (.NET Framework)

- Database Engines - mySQL, SqlLite, MS SQL, MS SQL CE, PostreSQL, Google Firebase No-SQL Database
- Methodology - UML, Rational Rose, RAD, Agile
I also love building web/mobile apps that are challenging ones having unique business processes. Fresh ideas are welcome!
